Jim and Michael have been in the game business for 35 years. They have expanded their business with their common goal of introducing prizes that are appealing to adults. They want to achieve an overall more inclusive experience for all customers.
Jim and Michael are both second generation business owners. Their fathers entered the business in the 1940s in Burlington, North Carolina. They have watched the business grow from Juke Boxes (when they were called Piccolos) all the way to Shopping Kiosks.
When you get redemption inside of a store, you’re limited to what you can redeem. Those prizes are not attractive to their target market. They have come up with a kiosk that provides for a larger variety of better prizes. They came up with The Trader Mall Kiosk by asking their customers what can be done better to give their clients incentive to play. By giving their clients an option to redeem useful gift cards, they have become much more inclusive.
